I no longer have braces... :) |
At the age of 10 I lost my mom to lung failure. Three years later, at 13, I lost my father to heart failure. Though those were the hardest experiences I've been through, I've learned a lot about myself and the importance of the Gospel in my life. I was baptized into
The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints when I was 10, just five short months before my mom died. Heavenly Father knew I needed the Gospel in my life to get through that difficult time. He has blessed me with an understanding of the Plan of Salvation and the Atonement. I know I will see my parents again, but until then, I've been given many stand ins to guide and help me along the way. They have taken me into their families and been my world. Especially
this one and
this one. I'm beyond grateful for them.
I will be serving as a Missionary for the LDS Church beginning this year. Where I will be going is still unknown, but that should change soon. I never really pictured myself as a missionary, but now I couldn't see it any other way. I'm very excited to get my Call and serve the Lord. Wonderful things are awaiting in the future, and I can't wait to get to them!
